Created as a meditation on temporality.

Revolutionised by Alexander Calder, as objects hanging mobiles perfectly presents the delicate interplay of life. At every level of life and by extension society and community our existence hangs in the balance.

In our human reality environmental and internal turbulence present obstacles to our equilibrium that as individuals and collectives we strive to contain through our actions. For a mobile gravity plays this stabilising role. While some strive for life to be fixed in total harmony, to fully understand it or to conquer it, the kinetic forces at play are ever changing, unique and unpredictable.
